NOXOR Platinum Edition Approximately one hour prior to exercise, eat an additional amount of calories than you normally would. This does not mean that you should eat too much, but eat more than you would on a day that you would not work out. Always do compound exercises so you can have the most muscle growth possible. These exercises use multiple muscle groups in a single lift exercise. Am example is a bench press that helps work out shoulders, triceps, and the chest in a single exercise. Make sure that workouts never exceed one hour in length. Your body starts producing excess cortisol, the stress hormone, after 60 minutes of a workout session. Cortisol blocks testosterone--a hormone that promotes muscle growth--and undermines all of the work you are putting into building muscle. Maintaining a workout of less than 60 minutes is beneficial as it will help you to get the best possible results from your routine. Imagine that you are larger than you really are. Do so by putting more emphasis on your upper body, chest, back and shoulders. This causes your waist to look smaller and makes you look bigger. Consume lots of protein when looking to gain muscle. Protein is the basic building block for muscle cells. If you're not getting enough protein in your diet, you can lose muscle mass instead of gaining it. You might need about 1 gram of protein for every pound in your body each day. If you want to gain muscle, put your attention on dead lifting, squatting, and bench pressing. Those are movements that will allow you to achieve fitness more rapidly, and continue to build muscle. You can add different exercises to your routine, but these three should really be at the core. Be sure that you limit yourself to working out at about three or possible four times in a week. That way, the body will have a chance to rejuvenate. Over-training is a serious problem that can actually prevent you from getting effective results in the long run. Change your diet in accordance with your training. You need to increase protein and carbohydrates while reducing your fat intake. You should adopt a healthier diet instead of overeating. Protein supplements and vitamins are an essential part of the muscle building process. Giving your muscles a workout can benefit you in a variety of ways, even if you have no desire to bulk up. It can increase strength in your body, lungs, joints and even self-esteem.
